Home Page Stories
7 Rotarians, 6 family members, and 10 members of the Arcadia High School Interact Club helped pack 960 emergency food boxes.  Nothing like an afternoon of hard work for a worthy cause to make you feel good.
Phoenix Camelback Rotary donated 125 dictionaries, one for every 3rd grader at Tavan Elementary School.  Club President Tom Kleefisch and club member Richard St. Amant are shown delivering the books to Tavan Principal Margaret Serna.
Our 20th Annual Boots n Saddles fund raising event was held Saturday April 30th, 2016.  Our Club raised more than $25,000.00 for our local charities: Boys and Girls Club of Greater Phoenix, Gift of Life, Arizona Burn Foundation, St Vincent de Paul, and St Mary's Food Bank. We appreciate your attendance and support.
Rick Zepp presents a check for $2000 to Dennis Haberer, Board Chair of The Rotary Vocational Fund of Arizona.  The donation will provide a vocational training scholarship.
Rick Zepp seen delivering some of the 25 backpacks with supplies to Tavan Elementary.  Special thanks to John and Cathy Calhoun for purchasing the backpacks and supplies.  The Club will reimburse them for the expense and thanks them for their annual efforts to make this happen.
President and Reindeer Mario, Santa Maribel, Chief Elf Keli, and several Phoenix Camelback Rotarians brought much Christmas cheer to the class.  Special thanks to John Abbs for coordinating the event and collecting all the donated gifts.  Unfortunately, Rick Zepp was unable to attend the photo-op.
Rotary was founded on the principles of Service.  Service above Self is our motto.  We focus on Community, International, Vocational, Club and Youth.  Our Club participates with local charities such as Gift of Life, St. Vincent de Paul, and the Arizona Burn Foundation.  We provide back packs and school supplies to those in a Phoenix neighborhood with need.  Internationally we are helping fund a clean water project in the Dominican Republic.  We have donated to Rotary's fight to wipe out polio.  The Club has also sponsored both Inbound and Outbound high school exchange students.  Our Club has great chemistry, come join us and give back to the greater good.
